The event – the idea of NYU neuroscience professor Dr. Joseph LeDoux – closed the Sensation to Emotion Conference.

Other peformers included Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright and Constantine Maroulis of American Idol fame.

Proceeds benefited the the Sensation and Emotion Network, which conducts research in “sensory processing and emotion regulation.”
